LinkedIn export guide

How to Read Your LinkedIn Learning History Export

Open Learning.csv in Career & Learning and choose the Learning category. Review each exported content record and its completion date. A course, a video and another content item are separate records; only a usable completion date counts as a recorded completion.

Find the Learning records

  1. Choose an archive containing Learning.csv, or select the original CSV alongside the other career files you need.
  2. Open Career & Learning and set Category to Learning. Search by the exported title and inspect each row's content label and dates.
  3. Use Timeline for dated Learning records, or open Wrapped to review the available aggregate Learning card.

What a completion count means

A nonempty label or a recently watched date does not establish a completion. The summary needs a completion date the reader can normalize. A blank or unsupported completion value remains unconfirmed.

The Learning summary counts content records, not unique certificates, study hours or a verified skill level. Repeated or different content types can appear in the export; inspect the actual rows before describing the total as completed courses.

Read the clocks correctly

An explicit UTC value retains its UTC basis. Supported dates keep their recorded precision, and unknown values stay unavailable. Year filters use the normalized record date; check the row before treating a filtered count as a count of completions in that year.

Keep a private CSV if you want to annotate your own learning plan. InstaScope does not fetch course content, award certificates or update your LinkedIn Learning account.
