Compare LinkedIn Connection Snapshots
Compare two LinkedIn Connections.csv exports locally. Review added, missing and changed records, match profile URLs and keep ambiguous names separate.
Open your LinkedIn export
Choose the original ZIP, or select supported CSV files together. Reading happens on this device. No LinkedIn login or automatic saving.
What to include for this task
- Connections and professional map
Connections
Connections.csv or original ZIP - Career and activity
Positions, Education, Learning, Shares and relevant activity categories
Supported CSV files selected together or original ZIP
Wait for the platform to finish preparing the download. Keep the original folder structure and choose the supported files together. A category that was not exported is unavailable, not empty.
Compare two connection lists
Use the shared export as the newer snapshot and choose an older Connections.csv or ZIP. Enter the dates you captured them; dates are never guessed from filenames or connection dates.
Older snapshot
Newer snapshot
Choose a newer export above, or a saved snapshot below.
Use saved connection snapshots
Saved snapshots remain on this browser. Load them only when you want to use the Vault.
Compare two independently captured connection lists
Match usable profile URLs from older and newer exports. Added, missing and changed records are separate results; unidentified and ambiguous rows stay outside identity matching.
- Choose two supported connection exports from the same LinkedIn account.
- Set capture dates and confirm their account and older/newer order.
- Review observed URL changes and optionally save a connection-only baseline for a future comparison.
Guides for this tool
How this tool uses your export
Choose your own records
Download your information from LinkedIn, then choose the ZIP or original CSV files here. Only supported categories are read. The coverage panel distinguishes missing, empty, partial and unsupported files.
Explore locally
A browser worker reads and normalizes your records. Search and filters run on this device. No password, session cookie or access to your LinkedIn account is needed.
Does a missing connection mean that person removed me?
It means that profile URL is present in the older list and absent from the newer one. Changed URLs, deactivation, account differences or export gaps can also explain it. Names alone are never used as identity.
What happens when I close the tab?
The active export is kept in memory and is cleared when you close or reload the tab. Optional connection snapshots remain only if you explicitly save them in the Vault. CSV and Wrapped downloads are created only when you choose them.
