Open a WhatsApp photo you already have

Choose your own photo or one shared with you. WhatsApp chat exports do not contain participants' profile photos. This page has no phone-number search, contact lookup or connection to your WhatsApp account.

Preview a saved image in three steps

Save an image you have permission to use on your device, then use Choose photo from device. Try with sample photo opens a fictional local image if you want to test the controls first.
Zoom to inspect the saved image or enable Circular preview to see how it fits a round frame. Save original photo keeps the source file; the preview is not a change to your WhatsApp profile.
If you choose AI upscale 4×, the optional model runs on this device. Compare its estimated detail with the original before saving the result, then Clear photo when finished.

The selected image stays in this tab. There is no public lookup request or photo upload; Clear photo or closing the tab removes the active preview. Saving an original or upscaled result creates a file on your device.

Photo viewer questions

Can I find someone's WhatsApp picture by phone number?

No. A phone number or chat ZIP cannot supply a profile photo here. Open an image already on your device instead. The viewer does not read your contacts, sign in to WhatsApp or bypass another person's photo visibility settings.

Does zoom recover the original HD photo?

Zoom changes the preview size. Optional AI upscaling estimates new pixels locally; it does not recover an authentic higher-resolution original. You can compare the result with the source and save either image.

Can this reveal private content?

Only the image you choose is opened. The viewer has no access to another person's WhatsApp profile, hidden content or contact list. Enlarging a saved photo cannot reveal a photo that was never supplied.
