My WhatsApp Wrapped
Small facts from a conversation. A set of cards to keep or share, made on this device.
Open your WhatsApp export
Open one WhatsApp chat export as a .txt file, or a ZIP containing one chat text file. The reading and analysis happen in your browser.
How to prepare your chat export
- Use WhatsApp's Export chat option for the conversation you want to explore.
- Choose Without media and save the .txt file or ZIP to your device.
- Open the file here. Review its locally detected format, choose the date order if needed, and confirm before analysis.
Supported formats use numeric dates, dash or bracket timestamp wrappers, and 24-hour clocks or English AM/PM. Slash dates may use two- or four-digit years; two-digit years mean 2000–2099. Named months and translated AM/PM are not supported.
No login. No cloud upload. No saved copy.
What to include for this task
- Conversation and Wrapped
One selected direct or group chat
TXT or ZIP; confirm ambiguous date order - Private chat album
Selected messages; attachments only with exact source references
Supported local images in the selected archive
Wait for the platform to finish preparing the download. Keep the original folder structure and choose the supported files together. A category that was not exported is unavailable, not empty.
A card generated from the fictional chat
The existing invented demo contains 24 participant messages on 8 active dates, with 3 exported labels. This is its conversation card, drawn by the application's PNG renderer without opening a chat in your workspace.
24 messages across 11 calendar days. 28 Dec 2025 to 7 Jan 2026: the chapter recorded in your export.
- 3 participant labels
- 8 active dates
This may be a partial chat. Recorded dates do not prove when the conversation began.
The conversation card requires supplied messages and usable first and latest dates. This fixture meets that gate. Other cards apply their own thresholds; qualifying words appear automatically before this card in the working deck. Analyzer filters do not change the full-source deck.
Make WhatsApp Wrapped from recorded chat facts
Open a supported chat export or try the fictional demo to create a phone-sized deck from full-export counts and recorded dates. Preview each available card, download an individual PNG or save the deck as a ZIP. Cards use the same local rendering as the preview; no third-party AI or image service receives your chat.
Share cards use exported participant display names; number-only labels are replaced. Qualifying word insights are included automatically. Names and words can reveal private context, so review every card before sharing. Missing evidence is kept unavailable rather than turned into a personality, compatibility or relationship claim.
Fictional example
A fictional 24-message export with 8 active dates can support count and date cards. It cannot establish who cares more, who read a message or why a conversation changed. A story deck is a summary of supplied records, not WhatsApp's complete account history.
