View a publicly available Instagram profile photo.
Enter an Instagram username or profile link to view a photo when it is publicly available. Public access restrictions always apply.
No Instagram password requiredA closer look at a publicly available photo
Enter a username, @username or Instagram profile URL. When public lookup is enabled and Instagram makes the image available, InstaScope shows the supplied photo with zoom, a circular or square preview, and fullscreen controls.
The resolution comes from the image Instagram publicly provides. InstaScope does not manufacture a higher-resolution original or guarantee that every account can be retrieved.
Public delivery determines availability
Instagram can restrict a page, require login, omit an image or limit requests. Those cases produce an explanatory error. The viewer does not ask for Instagram credentials, follow redirects into a login flow or bypass restrictions.
A private-account label does not grant access to private posts or stories. This tool only attempts to retrieve a publicly delivered profile image, and availability can change independently of InstaScope.
Optional browser-local AI upscaling
After a public photo loads, choose AI upscale 4× for optional general-purpose super resolution in your browser. A 150 by 150 source produces a learned 600 by 600 output, without stretching it to 1080. Larger sources keep their original input detail. Face-specific restoration is not available; small faces may remain soft. Processing can take longer on phones, and you can cancel while keeping the original photo.
The model estimates detail. Faces, hair and other details can change, and source quality still limits the result. Enhanced output is not Instagram's original HD image and does not recover a higher-resolution original that Instagram did not supply.
Use Original and AI upscale 4× to compare the original with the upscaled preview, then choose Save upscaled PNG if you want the result on your device. Zoom, fullscreen and the circular preview also let you inspect the available photo; preview zoom itself adds no source detail. No photo is uploaded to an AI service for enhancement.
Separate from your private export workspace
A lookup submits the username you entered to a separate photo service, when configured. A returned photo loads from Instagram's image servers. This is different from archive analysis, which reads your own files locally without uploading them.
You do not need an export to try the viewer. If you want to understand your own followers, use Followers Analyzer or Not Following Back with an Instagram information export; the public-photo service is not used to analyze those lists.

A little more clarity.
Can this reveal private content?
No. This tool only attempts to read a publicly delivered profile photo. If Instagram restricts delivery, we cannot retrieve it and will say so.
What happens to my data?
Your archive stays in this browser’s memory. Clear it or close the tab to remove it. If you choose to save a local snapshot, follower and following usernames remain in this browser until you delete them or clear site data. Public-photo searches, when enabled, send the entered username to our separate lookup service.
