How to get your export
Export help and limits

Include optional connection categories in the same ZIP or selection to explore requests, privacy lists and your unfollow history.

ZIP up to 2 GB · JSON / HTML up to 20 MB per file · All time export
What to include for this task
  • Connections and Wrapped

    Followers and Following; All time

JSON or supported HTML in the original ZIP
  • Instagram conversations

Wait for the platform to finish preparing the download. Keep the original folder structure and choose the supported files together. A category that was not exported is unavailable, not empty.

Review accounts you chose to unfollow

When Instagram includes recently-unfollowed records in your export, InstaScope shows the accounts you unfollowed and their recorded dates where available. Search or sort the list to revisit your own actions. A record does not tell you whether you later followed the account again.

This is your unfollow history, not a list of people who unfollowed you. It cannot identify someone else's decision from your own recently-unfollowed records.

What to include in the download

Choose the All time range and JSON format when requesting your Instagram information, and include the optional recently-unfollowed category. Followers and Following alone do not contain your unfollow action history. Instagram may provide only a limited period of these records, even in an All time export.

If that optional category is absent, InstaScope reports it as unavailable rather than claiming you have unfollowed nobody. Use the export guide below to check the categories in a new download.

A private record for manual review

Your archive stays in your browser; no Instagram password or connection to your account is needed. InstaScope does not restore follows or take account actions on your behalf.

Select accounts in Relationship Review if you want a private shortlist. Snapshot Comparison answers a separate question: which usernames are present or absent across two exports, without claiming who initiated a change.

A little more clarity.

Is this a list of people who unfollowed me?

No. It is the export's record of accounts you recently unfollowed. The list may cover a limited period and does not prove the current relationship state.

What happens to my data?

Your archive stays in this browser’s memory. Clear it or close the tab to remove it. If you choose to save a local snapshot, follower and following usernames remain in this browser until you delete them or clear site data. Public-photo searches, when enabled, send the entered username to our separate lookup service.

How do I get the right export?

Choose Followers and Following with the All time date range in Instagram’s Accounts Center. JSON is recommended. Include the relevant optional connection categories for requests, privacy lists and your own unfollow history. Read the export guide
